These chaps were painted a few years ago and were first exhibited at Art Aboyne where they were selected for inclusion in the stage backdrop to the opening ceremony emphasising the diversity of exhibit subject matter.

This was one of a series of Scottish Lighthouses which were sold through an Aberdeen art gallery. This was purchased by a daughter of an ex-keeper of Girdlness Lighthouse, south of Aberdeen, Scotland.
